How our lifestyle affects the risk of developing cancer?

The genetic factors are those related to our family's medical history. It is important to know which have been the chronic diseases that have been in our family and share this information with our primary doctor. This will help the doctor to know what diseases we may have a pre disposition to develop.

An example could be that the mother of the patient had suffered from breast cancer. This data would be a wake up call for to be attentive to seῇales themselves of the condition of the patient. Similarly, a family history of colon cancer is a seῇal alert on the pre-disposition in the patient. Get to know our family medical history and the prevention are two elements that will help us to maintain health.

Environmental factors are those things around us: air, water, substances that are placed inside and outside of our body, exposure to ultra violet rays and the style of life, among others, could put us at risk of developing cancer.

Exercise not only helps to prevent the risk of cancer, but also helps to tolerate the effects of chemotherapy, improves the general condition of the patient, the patient's quality of life and the fatigue associated with the disease cancer and its treatment.
